World Cafe x Island within : Power behind Passion projects 小島療癒.一缽初心
Do you have a passion project? At some point, we all long to make life more meaningful. A passion project can be something small, like helping those around us, or something bigger, like creating change in our community or the world.
As you pursue yours, who, or what keeps you going?
Your support network might include people who lift your spirits when you feel low or show up when you need help. It might also include animals, plants, or beliefs that give you strength.
On Saturday afternoon, 28 November, join us for an immersive exploration of the support network that powers our passion projects. In Peng Chau, an outlying island where we can slow down and step away from the city’s hustle and bustle.

Dual experience: Singing bowl and World Cafe
First, relax.
Served with tea, we will settle into a 30-minute immersive singing bowl and gong session. When we’re caught up in everyday life, it can be hard to hear ourselves clearly. Slowing down creates space to soften, listen, and simply be.
Then, reflect.
From this calmer place, we’ll come together for a World Café conversation—a space for intimate, honest reflection on the support that sustains us and our passion projects. World Café is a format driven by intentionally crafted questions, designed for 12 or more people to think together. Through rotating small groups, we will discover collective wisdom about support network.
Come to relax and reflect. Leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and more connected to what keeps you going.
The Space: Island within
Leave space—when you empty it out, more possibilities can emerge.
Island Within is designed in the form of a Home Studio. While living daily life here, what is learned is gently integrated and shared through retreats. The space is kept as open as possible, furnished only with what is necessary to reduce visual clutter. Draped curtains serve as private areas when needed.
