Hard as Nails: The Final Week
Hard as Nails: The Final Week
Ten painted nails. One week. Conversations that could change everything.
Men are still growing up with expectations about what it means to be a man.
Be strong. Don't show weakness. Keep your emotions to yourself. Deal with things on your own.
And those expectations can come at a cost to our relationships, our connections with others and our mental health.
Hard as Nails is challenging those expectations, one painted nail at a time.
And this is your last chance to join our national pilot.
On Monday 23rd November, we're bringing men together at Global Street Art in London for an informal evening of nail painting, drinks and conversation.
Because something interesting happens when men step outside their comfort zones and paint their nails.
They have a reason to start conversations they might otherwise never have.
About the pressures men face. The expectations we carry. The emotions we suppress. And the impact all of this can have on our mental health.
The painted nails become a platform for those conversations. An opportunity to challenge stereotypes, share experiences and connect with others in ways we don't always make space for.
Hard as Nails is an initiative to encourage men to paint their nails to open up meaningful conversations around healthy masculinity, harmful stereotypes and male mental health.
We've already seen the power of those conversations. Now we want more men to experience them.
So if you've been thinking about joining the movement but haven't quite taken the plunge, here's your opportunity.
First, please sign up to take part in the experiment at hard-as-nails.com.
Then come along, have a drink, get your nails painted for free and become part of something bigger.
No speeches. No formal agenda. Just drinks, nail polish, good company and hopefully some brilliant conversations.
