Miles & Meaning
Summer can be a joyful time, but may also come with an undertone of pressure.
The pressure to maximize the warmer weather.
The pressure to ramp up our goals.
The pressure to squeeze as much as possible into the next few months.
This walk is your permission slip to ease into the season.
Join Chivon John and Jodianne Beckford for the second edition of Miles and Meaning - a low-pressure community walk that invites you to strip the pressure of productivity from your wellness practice, move at a conversational pace, and connect with yourself and like-minded folks along the way.
Here we'll trade pressure for presence and remember that when we move, the pace that meets you where you are is what matters most.
Here's what you can expect:
A casual community walk (about 3 km with paved and unpaved paths
Guided reflection prompts to take home or use during the walk
Space to move, pause, and connect
No pace to meet or dress code — just space to show up as you are
Post walk, your hosts (@chivonjohn & @noiregirlsplant) will stick around for optional iced drinks at a local cafe.
