PG&E Hazard Awareness & Warning Center (HAWC) Tour

​*Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in. A valid government issued ID is required to attend.

​The tour of the Hazard Awareness and Warning Center (HAWC) will showcase the tools and processes the HAWC utilizes to provide situational awareness to PG&E stakeholders regarding hazards within the PG&E service territory. The HAWC works closely with the PG&E Meteorology team, Public Safety Specialists, Safety and Infrastructure Protection Team, Geosciences and others to ensure awareness to PG&E Functional Areas of hazards that may impact the system. Utilizing a variety of tools and sources, the HAWC builds a comprehensive situational awareness picture enabling PG&E functional areas to respond to hazard incidents per their response protocols.
