What to Expect: We'll begin by sitting together under the trees, introducing ourselves, and learning a little about one another before class begins.
Leah will then introduce the basics of QiGong and lead approximately 30 minutes of gentle standing movements designed to improve balance, reduce stress, increase energy, and promote overall well-being.
No experience is necessary. This class is perfect for beginners.
Optional walk in Tuckers Grove after QiGong.
What is QiGong? QiGong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow, flowing movements, breathing, and mindfulness to cultivate the body's natural life-force energy, known as Qi.
Many people practice QiGong to:
Improve balance and flexibility
Increase energy
Reduce stress
Promote relaxation and mental clarity
Support overall wellness
Meet Leah Diamond: Leah has been practicing QiGong for the past five years and loves sharing its calming and restorative benefits with others. She creates a welcoming environment where everyone can learn at their own pace while enjoying the connection and community that make Spunky Seniors so special.
We hope you'll join us for this unique combination of movement, mindfulness, and friendship! We look forward to seeing you.
