Alex is hosting a coffee walk by the river in New Farm / Teneriffe to connect Brisbane-area generalists over morning sunshine, coffee and good conversation.
We will meet at Officer's Mess and meander down the river towards coffee stop #2.
What is a generalist?
Professionals who apply their skills across multiple domains, connect disparate ideas, or serve as "translators" between different teams and disciplines. If you've ever felt your career doesn't fit in a single box, this celebration is for you.

About your host
Alex Fern is your IGD Brisbane host. She built a career in marketing while taking career breaks, side questing and side hustling. Her current project mix is freelance marketing and pilates instructing. She firmly believes life is meant to be lived fully with curiosity and new experiences, and sees "generalist" work as a means to a life lived on your own terms. "How you spend your days is how you spend your life".
