An evening with Harvard Social Studies alums
Join us for a night of interdisciplinary and intergenerational mingling with Social Studies alums in San Francisco! The program shaped so much of how many of us look at the world, and a surprising number of us are here in the Bay Area.
The evening will feature a conversation between Emily Chang, host of Bloomberg’s The Circuit (Social Studies ‘02), and Matt Mahan, Mayor of San José (Social Studies ‘05), on how leaders across sectors can prepare for this moment.
After the chat and Q&A, stay for a quick update on the latest at Harvard from 1636 Forum’s founder Sam Lessin ‘05 (also Social Studies!), plus drinks and bites with fellow alums.
Meanwhile, to help keep the Social Studies community thriving in Cambridge, please consider donating to the Anya Bernstein Bassett Fund (details below). The Fund’s Joy Prize is awarded to a Social Studies student each year as a stipend for activities that promote joy.
Feel free to share with any Social Studies alums we may have missed!
Yours,
Roy Bahat (‘98, Bloomberg Beta) & Amelia Miller ‘(19, Oxford Internet Institute)
How to Donate: On the Harvard alumni donation portal, select "OTHER" from the “Select a Fund” dropdown and type in "Anya Bernstein Bassett Memorial Fund."
