​What happens when Cambridge’s creative and innovation communities spend an afternoon thinking together?

​CamColours is finding out.

​Spring Bud is a facilitated workshop at Cambridge Botanic Gardens 15th May 2026 - the first in our year-long Seasons of Creativity series, supported by Innovate Cambridge and CamCreatives.

​Introduced by Nabil Ali (artist in residence), this session focuses on experimentation - the earliest, most generative stage of any creative or innovative process. When a sketch is still a sketch. When an idea is still a hunch.

​Whether you make things or build things for a living, this is the stage where the most interesting ideas begin.

​We’re bringing both communities together to think, make, and reflect. You’ll leave with new perspectives, new connections, and sharper instincts for the work you do at the start.
