The Literary Table | Women Writers & Their Legendary libations
🎟️ ONLY 30 SEATS AVAILABLE | This event WILL sell out. Madison's most intimate cocktail experience launches March 27, and you don't want to miss opening night.
Women's History Month meets cocktail culture at The Intoxicologist's Table. Join Chief Intoxicologist, ChinaMoon, with over thirty (30) years of expertise from NYC to the Midwest, for an evening celebrating women writers who refused to stay quiet: Zadie Smith, Angela Carter, and Maya Angelou, just to name a few. This is not a bar crawl. This is not a tasting room. This is not a lecture. This is 30 people, 75 minutes, and three (3) cocktails paired with the room actively discussing authors, substance, and the stories of women who changed literature by refusing to be anything less than extraordinary.
Each cocktail is presented with both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic option, so everyone at the table gets the full experience.
You will taste a Tequila Paloma inspired by Zadie Smith's sharp observations on identity and belonging. You will sip Angela Carter's "Bloody Good Mary," as bold and unapologetic as her fairy tale rewrites. And you will toast with Maya Angelou's "Still I Rise" rum sunset, a drink as resilient and layered as her life's work. Intimate. Educational. Unforgettable. Free, but you have to reserve your seat.
Limited to 30 guests. When they are gone, they are gone. Reserve your seat now before Madison's hardest ticket to get becomes impossible to get.
