CrowdHealth - Permissionless, Affordable Healthcare
For many of us, healthcare is either way too expensive or is too restrictive on where, when, and how it can be used. Last year I (Brian) tried three different plans to cover our 6 going on 7 family, until we found the right one for us. I will be sharing what I learned, our experience, and how we ended up using CrowdHealth to meet our needs. We will then have an open discussion with a CrowdHealth Executive to understand if it could be a good fit for you and your family and ask questions.
CrowdHealth is a peer-to-peer healthcare crowdfunding community (not insurance). Members pay a monthly membership fee, receive care as cash-pay patients which frequently unlocks lower rates, and get a personal Care Advocate to help find providers and negotiate bills. Larger eligible medical expenses are crowdfunded directly by other members after a modest member commitment. There are no insurance networks, no claims middlemen deciding what is "covered," and money moves member-to-member rather than into a risk pool, which is why it works especially well for families who split time between jurisdictions where conventional coverage often fails to travel cleanly.
It has worked for us through real medical events, and the transparency is impeccable. I'm hosting a walkthrough for everyone who has asked how it works:
What CrowdHealth is and what it is not (it's not insurance, and that's the point)
Real numbers: what we pay monthly, what cash-pay pricing looks like, how reimbursement works
How crowdfunding medical bills actually plays out when something happens
Who it fits, who it doesn't, and honest limitations
How they are innovating in healthcare and helping people be healthier instead of just making money when we are sick.
Open Q&A with a CrowdHealth executive — bring your skepticism and your questions
Important note:
I organized this webinar because dozens of you have asked me about this topic almost daily for almost a year now, and I know it could be a good solution for many of you. CrowdHealth did not ask me to do this, I hunted them down and proposed the idea.
Another thing I appreciate about CrowdHealth is that they've created a sustainable growth engine that rewards the efforts of its members. If you end up being interested and want to sign up with the code "BRIAN" you can receive a discount and I may get a referral bonus if you stick around (no contracts).
And if you don't feel like waiting for the webinar and want to get going right away I had them set up a direct line to Jason who is in charge of onboarding so you can connect one on one to learn more HERE.
So if you want to learn more about health coverage that's affordable, works anywhere, and helps starve the corrupt and bloated health insurance industry feel free to join us and bring a friend!
