The Last Long Light
The days are growing shorter, and we're gathering to honor what's still here.
Sunset Society returns for The Last Long Light — that particular quality of late August gold, when summer hasn't left yet but you can feel it beginning to. The air is different now. Softer. More amber. Pay attention.
We'll meet at the Edmonds marina to do what we do: come together, feel something real, and watch the light go down slowly.
We'll play a few connection games — no experience needed, just your willingness to show up — let golden hour do what it does, and close the night watching the sun sink into the Sound together. Somewhere in there we'll ask each other one question: What are you savoring before the season turns?
Come as you are — sun-warmed, a little wistful, and ready. We'll send you home carrying a little more light than you arrived with.
This is the fourth gathering of something that's only just beginning. 🍂🌅
What to bring: A blanket, layers for when the air cools, your wild precious heart, and anything you'd like to drink or snack on. Sharing encouraged. ✨
Optional tiny magic: bring a flower, stone, shell, written word, or small object for a shared late summer altar — something for what you're savoring, something for what you're ready to release, something for the season that's slowly turning.
