Coming to Our Senses is an intimate, body-led workshop for women and femmes ready to slow down, soften, and reconnect with their sensual selves.
Through guided breathwork, ritual, gentle movement, and optional self-touch, we’ll explore pleasure without pressure. This is not about performing, forcing an outcome, or chasing intensity—it’s about learning to listen to your body and meet whatever is present with safety, compassion, and trust.
We’ll practice using breath to restore the nervous system, awaken subtle sensation, and allow pleasure to move through the body like liquid golden honey.
You’ll explore:

✦ Releasing pressure around pleasure and orgasm
✦ Connecting to subtle sensation and body wisdom
✦ Meeting numbness, emotion, desire, or tenderness without judgment
✦ A guided “golden honey” breath practice
Come exactly as you are.
Wear something that turns you on! It can be a robe, lingerie, a t-shirt and panties, a dress, a scarf, a lipstick. Dress in a way that feeds your aliveness.
Bring water, a journal, a blanket or pillow, and any ritual objects that help you feel supported.
This is a space for softness, slowness, devotion, and coming home to safety, love, and pleasure in your body.
Meet Your Facilitator
Portia Mayari is a VITA-certified sex, love, and relationship coach, trauma-informed somatic practitioner, sensuality guide, and ritualist, trained under Layla Martin and Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts. She's the founder of The Bougie Bruja Co. A first-generation Filipino American and self-described pleasure rebel, she spent years healing her own relationship to her body and sexuality, and now guides hundreds of women through that same return: out of shame and disconnection, into presence, safety, and aliveness.
Her work moves through intentional ritual, nervous-system safety, and embodied practice, holding space that's equal parts fierce and tender. She doesn't teach pleasure as performance or technique. She teaches it as a portal home.
Portia creates warm, grounded spaces where women can slow down, release pressure, and explore what it means to feel safe, present, and fully at home in themselves. Her approach honors pleasure as a pathway to self-connection, creativity, and radical self-love. Erotic isn't about performance. It's about life force. Reclaiming the wisdom of the body, not just the intellect.
