Interested in spending J-Term in Bolivia? Applications are due October 15!
Join Dr. Mazhar Islam to learn more about Loyola’s Bolivia J-Term Program, January 3–14, 2027. This three-credit experience takes students beyond the classroom to explore entrepreneurship, business, economic development, and culture firsthand.
Whether you’re still deciding if Bolivia is right for you, have already started your application, or simply want to learn more, this is a chance to get your questions answered. We’ll walk through the itinerary and travel experience, academics, program costs, application process, and anything else you want to know before the October 15 deadline.

🌊 Explore Lake Titicaca and Isla del Sol

🚙 Take a 4x4 expedition through the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve
Who can participate?
Open to undergraduate and graduate students across majors and programs.
