

Grapevine Pruning Workshop + Work Party
Join Tom Dixon and Brook Brooks from Last Ditch on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM in La Cienega for the second of two spring workshops on pruning grapevines!
Are you a budding viticulturist looking for hands-on experience?
Do you have (or want) some backyard grapevines and want to learn the art of pruning?
Or do you simply enjoy working with your hands and sharing good food and wine in great company?
We LOVE pruning season and are excited to invite you into the vineyard. In this 2.5-hour workshop, you'll learn technical pruning skills and put them to work right away, shaping the 2026 vintage alongside us.
Around noon, we’ll gather around a communal table to share wine from the vineyard along with a vegetarian, gluten-free lunch.
It's a low-cost, pay-what-you-wish workshop, with a suggested contribution of $35. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
All levels welcome! No experience needed.
