Grapevine Pruning Workshop + Work Party

​Join Tom Dixon and Brook Brooks from Last Ditch on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM in La Cienega for the second of two spring workshops on pruning grapevines!

• ​Are you a budding viticulturist looking for hands-on experience?

• ​Do you have (or want) some backyard grapevines and want to learn the art of pruning?

• ​Or do you simply enjoy working with your hands and sharing good food and wine in great company?

​We LOVE pruning season and are excited to invite you into the vineyard. In this 2.5-hour workshop, you'll learn technical pruning skills and put them to work right away, shaping the 2026 vintage alongside us.

Around noon, we’ll gather around a communal table to share wine from the vineyard along with a vegetarian, gluten-free lunch.

It's a low-cost, pay-what-you-wish workshop, with a suggested contribution of $35. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
