SESSION 4 - FSP Formation for Women: THE HEART OF AN AUTHENTIC CATHOLIC WOMAN
To help Catholic women discover their dignity, vocation, and mission through the Beatitudes, forming them into joyful disciples who reflect the virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary in their homes, workplaces, parishes, and communities.
The Magnificat Ministry is the official women's formation and fraternity ministry of the Frassati Society Philippines (FSP). Inspired by the Canticle of Mary (Luke 1:46–55), from which it takes its name, the ministry seeks to accompany Catholic women in their journey toward holiness by following the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose life magnified the greatness, mercy, and love of God.
Rooted in the spirituality of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati and guided by the motto Verso l'Alto ("To the Heights"), the Magnificat Ministry provides a structured and holistic formation program that nurtures the spiritual, human, intellectual, emotional, and missionary dimensions of every woman. Through Scripture, Catholic teaching, prayer, fellowship, and meaningful discussions, participants are equipped to live their vocation faithfully in their families, workplaces, parishes, and communities.
The formation program aims to help women deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, cultivate virtue, embrace their unique dignity and vocation, and become joyful missionary disciples who witness to the Gospel through lives of faith, hope, charity, and service.
Whether single, married, consecrated, widowed, young adult, or professional, every woman is invited to discover in Mary the model of authentic Christian womanhood — a woman whose soul continually magnifies the Lord and whose life reflects His love to the world.
