Azad Sessions 14: UI/UX Workshop
Ever rage clicked a website? Wondered why one app feels like a breeze while another feels like filing your taxes? Learn where the answer lies in UI/UX Design with our very own Azad Reads member Abhinav Kesarwani. Abhinav has had over half a decade of experience in the field and we believe will be an able sherpa to take you through the UI/UX lands.
Behind every app you love and every one you love to complain about, is a designer making hundreds of tiny decisions that shape your experience. In this workshop, we'll peel back the curtain and show you exactly how those decisions are made.
This is a beginner friendly workshop designed for college students and anyone curious about digital product design. And no, this isn't another lecture stuffed with buzzwords and frameworks. Expect design games, real world examples, hands on challenges, and a live design session where you'll think, sketch, laugh, debate and maybe start questioning every app on your phone.
What you'll experience:
1. Understand the real difference between UI and UX Design.
2. Learn how designers think through real apps.
3. Participate in fun games and collaborative activities.
4. Get a hands-on introduction to Figma, the industry's leading design tool.
5. Discover career opportunities, skills required, and how to begin your journey in UI/UX.
You don't need any prior design experience. Just bring your laptop, a notebook, and an open mind.
Just bring your laptop, a plain notebook, your curiosity, and a willingness to see everyday products through a completely new lens.
