As one of our first events at the newly opened Atelier, we’ll be hosting a lively seminar on the art and science of glassware—from the classic to the delightfully zany. A seemingly simple change in shape can influence aroma, aeration, acidity, tannin, and the way a wine unfolds across the palate. And sometimes, only a bit of history can explain why certain shapes became fashionable in the first place.
Whether you’re curious about the practical differences between a Burgundy and Bordeaux glass or simply want to become an expert in the utility of your most important wine accessory, join us for an hour of discovery, experimentation, and, of course, plenty of wine.
