DIASPORA INVESTMENT CONNECT
What happens when African diaspora professionals, International investors, entrepreneurs and ecosystem builders come together around one shared interest: investing in Africa?
Join us in Helsinki for an informal, invitation-led gathering on the sidelines of Slush to connect African diaspora professionals, international investors, entrepreneurs and ecosystem partners interested in Africa. The event will introduce participating initiatives and foster practical relationships through conversations, introductions and networking focused on connecting diaspora and International capital with investment opportunities across Africa.
Taking place alongside Slush 2026, this gathering will bring together members of the African diaspora, International investors, founders and investment ecosystem partners to explore how trusted networks can help unlock capital, support African businesses and create meaningful investment connections.
Part of Africa–Europe Investor Week
The Meet-up of the Africa–Europe Investor Week at Slush 2026, a connected programme designed to strengthen the relationships, market understanding and trust that precede investment.
Across the week, African fund managers, high-net-worth individuals, investment leaders and ecosystem partners will engage with European investors, family offices, development finance institutions and business leaders. The ambition is to help turn investor interest into credible partnerships and, ultimately, deals.
Through brief introductions, interactive conversations and fireside chats, we will introduce initiatives working to strengthen diaspora investment pathways and explore opportunities for continued engagement.
Whether you are an experienced investor, an entrepreneur building in Africa, a diaspora professional interested in investing, An international Investor or an organisation supporting cross-border investment, this is an opportunity to connect with people working towards a more connected African investment ecosystem.
Come ready to share perspectives, make introductions and explore what we can build together.
