Holding Space Through Life's Transitions: How Cancer & Death Doulas Can Support You
Part 1 of a 3-Part Webinar Series with Talaya Dendy, Cancer Doula & Rev. Shewon McGee, Death Doula
Talaya Dendy, Cancer Doula and Board-Certified Patient Advocate, and Rev. Shewon McGee, Death Doula, are coming together for a powerful three-part webinar series that bridges the space between medical care and the human experience of navigating cancer and death.
This is not a medical series. This is a human one.
This is not your typical introductory webinar. From the very first moment, we are going deep into our stories, our work, and the powerful reasons we do what we do.
This is not a session about dying. It is a session about living. Fully. Intentionally. On your own terms.
This is not a session about how to become a doula or start a business.
Who Is This Series For?
Active Patients: You are in the thick of it, managing a diagnosis, making decisions, and trying to hold yourself together.
Cancer Survivors: Treatment is over, but the weight of the journey remains.
Caregivers: You are giving everything you have to support someone you love.
The Curious Community: You may not be in a cancer journey right now, but life's transitions come for all of us. This series will help you understand these powerful roles and prepare for whatever lies ahead with knowledge, grace, and intention.
What You Will Walk Away With
Whether you are currently in treatment, navigating the complex world of survivorship, supporting someone you love, or just want to prepare as much as possible for cancer or death, this series will help you:
Understand the roles of a Cancer Doula and a Death Doula, and why having both in your corner changes everything, even if you are not facing cancer or death at this time
Determine if you or a loved one needs a cancer or death doula on your side
Live Q&A
We will open the floor for your questions because the topics that matter most to you will help shape Sessions 2 and 3.
Stay to the End, A Special Offer Awaits
As a thank you for spending this time with us, we have something special reserved for those who stay through the entire session. You will not want to leave early. 💜
Talaya: Your Support System Checklist: Who to Call for What, a free downloadable resource that helps you organize and identify who to call for everything from emotional support to financial, legal, and administrative support. It's a must-have tool to help you feel more grounded and supported.
