​Job searching or just career curious? It's not just about finding the right opportunity, it's about staying motivated and connected through the process. Whether you're between roles, changing careers, or just seeing what's out there, join us for an informal evening of connection, coworking, and mutual support.

​Inspired by the Never Search Alone Job Search Council model, this first gathering is designed to bring job seekers together in a relaxed environment where you can meet others navigating similar challenges, spend time working on your search, and exchange ideas and encouragement.

​We'll kick off the evening by getting to know one another. Everyone will have the opportunity (if they'd like) to share who they are, what kind of work they're looking for, and perhaps a passion project, portfolio piece, or skill they're excited about. It's a chance to put faces to names and discover unexpected connections before settling into coworking and conversation.

​Fellow Local Economy member and career coach Katie Byrd will be available to offer light resume feedback, answer general job search questions, and share additional coaching resources for those interested in personalized support. Have services you can offer folks as well? Show off your skills by supporting the community!

​This kickoff event is also an opportunity to help shape what this community becomes. We'll wrap up the evening by brainstorming ideas for future meetups and the kinds of support that would be most valuable as the group grows.
