Neither/Nor Paper Discussion
Most of us were trained to trust abstract thinking — formulas, categories, plans. But what happens when lived experience refuses to fit the formula? My theory, introduced in the paper, argues that the gap between how we think things should work and how they actually feel is one of the main structural sources of suffering — and that there's a trainable way of reducing it.
My coauthor Isabela Granic will be in London. We would love to have you read the paper and come discuss it with us.
We're hosting a casual discussion at the Cittie of Yorke, a classic quiet pub in Central London. +1s welcome — just ask them to read the paper first 😊

There's no quiz, but the point is for people who have read the paper to discuss it. More structured talks and also more fun events to follow — this one is for people who'd like a deadline to read what we've been up to!
