Beyond the Baby: Supporting Parents in the Perinatal Season
Beyond the Baby: A Space for Parents to Feel Supported
Date: 18 April 2026, Saturday
Time: 10.00am- 12.30pm (Morning refreshments and registration starts at 9.30am)
Parenthood changes us — in our bodies, our relationships, our sense of self.
For many, the perinatal season is filled with uncertainty and feelings we didn’t see coming. Often, there isn’t enough room to say any of it out loud.
Held during Perinatal Mental Health Awareness Week, this half-day, in-person gathering creates space to pause together. We’ll bring trusted practitioners and lived-experience voices into the same room to gently hold the realities of pregnancy and the first year after birth.
Through short talks and fireside conversations, we’ll touch on perinatal mental health, early postpartum care, shifts in the marriage, and the less-spoken emotional worlds of fathers.
This is a warm, practical, non-judgemental space to listen, reflect, and feel less alone. Whether you’re trying to conceive, expecting a baby, or finding your footing in early parenthood, you’re welcome here just as you are. Come connect with us in this space!
