As America turns 250, how can followers of Jesus practice a truthful love of country—one marked by gratitude without idolatry, repentance without contempt, and hope without illusion?

Join The After Party’s David French, Russell Moore, and Curtis Chang for a live one-hour recording of the Good Faith podcast as they reflect on the United States at 250: the Constitution, democracy, and neighbor-love. Together, they will ask what American gifts—religious liberty, constitutional order, civic friendship, freedom of conscience, and the capacity for reform—Christians and non-Christians alike should seek to preserve for future generations.

This conversation will explore the difference between a Christian's love of country and a country's appropriate place in the life of a believer, and the civic habits a constitutional democracy requires that are also Christian virtues: patience, truthfulness, persuasion, losing well, protecting minorities, and refusing violence. We'll ask how Christians can love neighbors who experience America differently?
