​About the Host

​I’m Maika Someda, a recruiter based in Tokyo, where I focus on connecting talent with businesses and building strong professional relationships.

​Outside of recruitment, I DJ and have a deep passion for music and the way it brings people together. I also founded my own company and have always enjoyed building communities, connecting with founders, and exchanging ideas with leaders across Tokyo.

​Network & Beats was created to bring these worlds together. A space where business, music, and meaningful connections naturally meet. A place to connect, share ideas, and build relationships in a more relaxed and authentic setting.
