Text to Code | Session #6: Bridging Ecosystems: The Intersection of Crypto and Fintech

​We are back with the sixth session of Text of Code! The session would be around - "Bridging Ecosystems: The Intersection of Crypto and Fintech".

​In our previous Text to Code sessions, we explored multiple subsectors within DeFi, from exchanges and on-chain lending to tokenisation. In this session, we intend to explore the intersection between crypto and fintech and its potential to disrupt traditional models of banking and finance. The session will feature two distinguished panellists from two innovative companies in the space, Kebbie Sebastian from Merge and Varun Deshpande from Juno.

​Kebbie Sebastian leads Merge, which is building banking and payment infrastructure for web3 companies and marketplaces. He previously founded Penser and has an extensive background at various TradFi institutions including Paypal and Bank of America.

​Varun Deshpande is co-founder of Juno, a crypto-native banking platform. He has previously founded multiple companies across Fintech and Talent space - Nuo, Beewise and TopTalent and is an alum of BITS Pilani.

​About Text to Code

​Text to Code is a bi-weekly web3 meetup launched by Hashed Emergent.
