​Bibamba’s story began with love in Denver and a farm in Cameroon. Founders Patrick and Mara built the business by connecting their roots in America and Africa. In 2015, they purchased farmland in Cameroon’s Center Province and planted cacao, plantain, and coffee. Their first cacao harvest came in 2020, and they began turning their own beans into artisan chocolate with the help of local Colorado chocolatiers. Today, Bibamba is committed to creating premium chocolate while supporting Cameroonian farmers through sustainable farming, fair wages, education, and community investment.

​During our visit, we’ll get to experience that story firsthand through a behind-the-scenes chocolate factory tour and guided tasting—learning more about where cacao comes from, how it becomes chocolate, and the people and purpose behind Bibamba.
