Pitch Crafting Workshop (In Person) | College Pitch Competition
Applying to the College Pitch Competition this fall? Bring your idea and leave with a sharper pitch.
In one hour we'll walk through what a strong student pitch looks like: how to frame the problem and who has it, how to show your solution makes someone's life better, how to talk about revenue without a finance degree, and how to build the 7-slide deck the application asks for (Problem/Customer, Solution, Value Proposition, Market, Revenue Model, Team, Ask). Bring questions. Ideas at any stage are welcome.
Who it's for: Sac State students in Business, Engineering & Computer Science, and Natural Sciences & Mathematics who are applying, or thinking about it. Solo or with a team.
Where: The Carlsen Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, University Library, room 1520.
Missed the Zoom session? This is the same workshop we ran online on Oct. 22, so come to whichever fits your schedule.
Apply to the competition: https://airtable.com/apprQLHb1f7aunGgI/pagXZ0bkJUS84HsNN/form. Applications are due Friday, Nov. 13 at 11:59 pm, nine days after this session. The competition is the week of Nov. 30.
