NARC is turning TWO! 🥹✌🏽
To celebrate two years of running, coffees, events, friendships and bringing people together in Girona, we're inviting the whole NARC community (+beyond) to join us for a birthday afternoon in Parc de la Devesa.
Join us on Saturday, 26th September for a picnic in the park and NARC's very first Pop Quiz. Expect general knowledge, random facts, Girona-specific questions and probably a few NARC questions thrown in there too.
Bring some snacks, something to drink, a picnic rug and your thinking hat. We'll bring the quiz + prizes. 🧠🏆

🧠 HOW WILL THE QUIZ WORK?
Come by yourself, come with friends, come with your partner... it doesn't matter!
Everyone registers individually and we'll randomly put you into a team of around 3–5 people on the day.
Part of the reason we wanted to organise the event this way is because NARC has always been about meeting people. So instead of everyone sticking with the people they already know, you'll get the chance to meet a few new faces from the community.
Once you've been assigned a team, you'll have a few minutes to introduce yourselves and, importantly, come up with a team name.
Choose wisely. There's a prize for that too. 👀
🇬🇧🇪🇸 The quiz will be bilingual!
Kayla (NARC) and Ana will be hosting, with every question asked in English and Spanish. Your team can answer in either language too.

It wouldn't be a birthday without presents. We've put together some pretty great prize hampers with goodies from some of the brands we already know and love including Precision Fuel & Hydration, Oniria Café, La Maglia Coffee, Obaga Açaí, Bartali and more.

🏆 Best Team Name – absolutely nothing to do with your general knowledge and everything to do with making us laugh.

17:45 onwards – Picnic, drinks, chats + birthday hangs in Devesa 🎂

Everyone!
Coming alone? Please do! The whole point of randomly assigning teams is to mix everyone up, so you won't be the only person arriving without a group.
Whether you've been running with NARC for two years, joined us last Saturday, normally only appear for the post-run coffee, haven't been for months, or have never actually been to a NARC event before, you're welcome.
NARC has always been about more than running. We're here to get outside, move our bodies, drink good coffee, meet people and create a community in Girona where people actually feel welcome.
This birthday is really a celebration of you guys, because NARC wouldn't exist without the people who continue to show up, bring their friends, volunteer their time, host runs and make new people feel welcome. 💛
