Dr Holbrook's team is among the most experienced in the world in complication management, currently overseeing 2–3 complex cases per week across a network of 2,000+ independent MedSpas in the US and Australia.

This session will cover protocols to minimise risk, accelerate identification, and drive faster resolution — while helping to restore confidence in clinicians who have navigated complications, noting that they occur more commonly among experienced injectors.


Speaker - Dr John Holbrook

​Dr John Holbrook is the Co-Founder of Fresh Clinics. Originally from the United States, he relocated to Australia to study medicine at the University of Sydney after completing a Master’s in International Public Health.

During this time, he developed a strong connection to Sydney and gained valuable experience at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, working across specialist teams including dermatology and head and neck. It was during medical school that Dr John Holbrook met Dr John Delaney.

Training and working side-by-side in one of Sydney’s major teaching hospitals, the two quickly discovered they shared more than just a career path, they shared a passion for people and technology.

Driven by this vision, they co-founded Fresh Clinics to make the practice of medicine easier, safer, and more efficient.
