About Event

Elections for the European Parliament take place 6-9 June 2024.

Huh, I can vote for the European Parliament? What does that even mean and why is it important?

I’m interested in European politics, have an opinion, and I want to be heard!

Wherever you are on the spectrum of political engagement, understanding EU politics can be complicated. Equally, being concerned with social issues but being unsure where to direct your political energy can be taxing.

Join the Amsterdam Global Shapers and three EU Parliament candidates from Volt, GroenLinks, and CDA to discuss why voting for the EU Parliament matters, and what we can do beyond voting to contribute to positive social change.

This is not just an evening of discussion, but we will collaborate directly with our EU MP candidates to shape and amplify our perspectives, concerns and ideas. Perhaps we might inspire a budding politician in the crowd too!

Spaces are limited so please only sign up if you can commit to attend. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please let us know.

Feel free to share the link with anyone you feel might be interested!
