"What Stays the Same" — a conversation card game for families navigating aging or illness
Aging or illness brings up topics and questions that are hard to say out loud. "What Stays the Same" is a new conversation card game designed to help you say them anyway, while respecting the deep feelings and emotions that may come up.
Join us for a one-hour live playtest of the early prototype. The game designer will lead the experience as a warm, low-pressure session using a circle of care exercise and a feelings wheel to help you name what you're really feeling. No experience needed, just a willingness to explore your feelings around caregiving needs of someone close to you (friend, neighbor, or relative).
Try it first, then share your feedback: what worked, what didn't, what would make it better. Your feedback will help shape the final game.
Capacity is limited to 10 people (5 in each group). You'll be asked to share your timeslot preference when you RSVP. Coffee & light breakfast provided.
Group 1: 10am-11am
Group 2: 11am-12pm
