Participants in this workshop-style session will learn magical techniques from a seasoned facilitator to support grant development and management with your nonprofit team or clients.
Participants will understand key facilitation concepts from Unlocking the Magic of Facilitation: 11 Key Concepts You Didn’t Know You Didn’t Know (Killerman & Bolger) and how to apply them to their grant work, including the difference between teaching and facilitating.
Participants will learn from a seasoned facilitator and ambivert who has worked with diverse groups around the U.S. to inspire change.
Participants will engage with others to practice some of the techniques shared.

Keri McDonald is a Jane of All Trades across nonprofit and public-sector organizations. She has served in several diverse roles, from caseworker to communications manager, grants manager, and board member. This broad experience and ability to see through all constituents' eyes helped her establish Keri McDonald Consulting, LLC, specializing in communications and grant writing, serving primarily human services organizations. Keri has a Master of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a Grant Professional Certified (GPC), the only accredited certification for the grants profession.
