About Event

We’re thrilled to share that the 4th Annual Chicago Southwest Economic Summit is back.

More than 300 business, civic, nonprofit, education, and community leaders participated in last year's Summit, and we look forward to building on that momentum in 2026.

Join business leaders, community organizations, educators, workforce partners, elected officials, and residents from across the region for a day of conversation, connection, and collaboration focused on the future of Chicago’s Southwest Side.

Theme: Planning Through Change

As communities navigate growth, investment, workforce shifts, and regional opportunity, the Summit will explore the ideas, partnerships, and strategies shaping the next chapter of economic development across Southwest Chicago.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Richard J. Daley College (7500 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago). Registration and networking begin at 8:00 AM, with remarks starting at 9:00 AM.

Below you'll find key details to help you plan your day, including parking, campus entry information, and event logistics.

Networking
The Summit is designed to spark new connections and collaborations. We encourage you to introduce yourself, exchange contact information, and connect with fellow attendees throughout the day. Take advantage of coffee breaks, lunch, and other informal moments to meet business, civic, and community leaders from across the region.
