LWS Membership Hub Launch Party Pt 3
After months of building, testing, breaking things, fixing things, and talking to my screen more than any human should — the LWS Hub is officially here and open to all paid members.
Here’s what I was going for: remember the internet of the 90s? Before we were the product? When it was just... fun and nerdy and delightful? That was the brief. I wanted to build a space that feels like that — a place where you can be genuinely curious about each other without an algorithm trying to sell you something. Simply put, the Hub is a dreamy place for nosy bitches who like to find out.
Now let me show you around, here's what we'll cover in this orientation/tour.
Set up your profile (seriously, do this first) Think of your profile as 25% LinkedIn, 75% Hinge. Yes, you’ll see what industries and brands someone has worked with. But you’ll ALSO see their star sign, enneagram, Myers-Briggs, whether they’re a human parent, plant caretaker, or cat worshipper — and where they’re located so you can find your local people.
The whole vibe is: learn a little more about someone, realize you already love the same stuff, get that little spark of confidence, and then hit the button in their profile to DM them on Slack. That’s it. That’s the magic.
(And yes, please upload an actual headshot. We love you but we do not need to see your cat. Ok fine, we do. But also a headshot.)
Try the matching features Ok buckle up because this is where people are going to lose their minds. We have TWO matchers built into the Hub:
Cosmic Matchmaker — matches you with other members based on compatible star signs, enneagram numbers, and Myers-Briggs types. Yes, really. Yes, it’s as fun as it sounds. It’s giving “oh my god, where have you been all my career.”
Mentorship Matcher — connects you with members who have the experience you’re looking for, or who are looking for exactly what you bring. Whether you want to mentor, be mentored, or both, this one’s going to be a game changer.
These two features alone are worth poking around for. I am telling you, people are going to go bananas
Find & register for events No more “wait, when is that thing?” the Hub has our full event calendar and you can RSVP right from the platform. Register and it drops straight into your Google Calendar. We’ve got events lined up for launch week so go poke around.
AND — you can propose your own member-organized events, online or offline, to be added to the wider community calendar. Want to host a strategy roast in your city? A virtual book club? A “let’s complain about briefs” happy hour? The calendar is yours too.
Browse the Resource Library All the templates, strategy training recordings, and research reports we’ve shared on Slack — now in one searchable, organized place. No more scrolling back through six months of messages hoping to find that one deck someone posted. Depending on your membership tier, you’ll see different collections available to you.
