​AdaCon is our annual gathering of the policymakers, founders, VCs, and thinkers shaping the future of tech and investment. 

​Our speaker line-up this year includes President Obama's former U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Regina Benjamin, as keynote. Dr. Benjamin is First Round Capital's Healthcare Expert-in-Residence, and a member of the First Close Partners team.

​She’ll be joined by other speakers, including: Sequoia's Head of Talent, Zoe Jervier Hewitt; Partner and Co-Head at Trill Impact Ventures, Nina Rawal; and former Cleo COO and CashApp GM, Trish Nadesan; and Director of Public Engagement Lab at Google DeepMind, Dorothy Chou, We’ll also be treated to a live performance by sound artist Belinda Zhawi.

​The theme for this year’s event is Inclusive Alpha - Ada’s philosophy that investing through an inclusive lens today will find the alpha founders of tomorrow. On this theme, we will be unveiling first-of-its-kind research at the event. Conducted in collaboration with a team of world-leading behavioural scientists, this research looks at the personality and behavioural traits of unicorn founders. We believe this research will reshape how investors assess founder potential, and we can’t wait to share the findings with our guests on 7th October.
