About Event

The Imagination Hackathon is a three-part workshop series for people who want to imagine — and begin building — more connected, caring communities. Across three sessions, we'll move from vision-building to co-creation and a final showcase, turning shared hopes for the future into small, tangible experiments.

📆 Attendance & dates

Because each session builds on the last, participants are expected to attend the full series. Session 1 is essential: it's where the cohort forms and the shared ideas that guide Sessions 2 and 3 begin to take shape. Please save all three dates in your calendar.

All sessions begin at 6pm CET and are planned for 60 minutes, though the length may vary slightly depending on the size of the group.

Session 1: 22 September 2026
Session 2: 29 September 2026
Session 3: 6 October 2026

🎯 What to expect

Session 1: Vision-Building (22 Sep)
What if the future you want to live in is closer than it feels?

This opening session of the Imagination Hackathon invites us to imagine the futures we want for our communities — futures shaped by belonging, local action, and collective care. Vision-building helps us reconnect with a sense of possibility, recognise our own agency, and explore the impact we can create together.

By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer sense of the future you want to help build — and who you might build it with.

Session 2: Co-Creation (29 Sep)
This session is where ideas begin to become real.

Together, we'll turn the possibilities imagined in Session 1 into something tangible. The focus is on finding the lowest-lift version of something you can actually create together. Co-creation helps us see that building the futures we dream of can start wherever we are, with the people and resources already around us.

By the end of the session, you'll have taken a shared idea one step closer to reality — transforming imagination into collective action.

Session 3: Showcase (6 Oct)
This is the moment to share what became possible.

In the final session of the Imagination Hackathon, the cohort will showcase what they created, share their learnings, and reflect on the experience of building together. The showcase is an opportunity to inspire others, celebrate collective creativity, and open new possibilities for ideas to continue growing.

Come ready to listen, exchange insights, and be inspired by what can happen when people imagine and create together.
