Connection Academy 101: The Practice of Belonging

​Connection Academy 101: The Practice of Belonging is a hands-on introduction to building an intentional, sustainable in-person community.

​In this workshop, we’ll explore what community actually is (and what it isn’t), how to be intentional about creating belonging, and what it means to step into the role of a community builder and stay authentic to your community.

​You’ll learn how to:

• ​Clarify what your community exists to do and who it’s really for

• ​Understand where you are in the community-building lifecycle and what your role is at each stage - and how to progress from one stage to the next

• ​Design gatherings that foster connection and keep people coming back

• ​Begin building the structures that support long-term sustainability for both your members and yourself

​This workshop is designed for people who feel called to host, gather, and bring people together, whether you’re just getting started or already running events and want to be more intentional about how your community grows. Expect lots of conversation and opportunities to get into the work of building community.

​The workshop also includes:

• ​1:1 coaching session with Jesse, our lead community manager

• ​A matched 'connection buddy' for peer support and accountability

• ​Access to your cohort community via WhatsApp
