Sentientist Afternoon: Economics - 15th March

​Sentientism is a worldview summed up nicely by the motto: “Evidence, reason and compassion for all sentient beings”. These meet-ups are a chance to discuss strategies for moving the world towards one that better aligns with these values.

​For this meet-up, we’ll be focusing on economics. The discussion will explore what a sentientist approach to economics might look like: how sentientist values could inform economic systems, incentives, and measures of progress; how current economic structures align or conflict with compassion for all sentient beings; and what practical economic changes might help move society in a more sentientist direction.
