[Free women only hike]: Siete Picos via Camino Schmid

​join us for high-altitude mountain views along the siete picos ridge, with a shaded forest path on the return via the camino schmid. this classic guadarrama route takes you past 2,000m, with views over the madrid plateau and the surrounding sierra.

​📍 meeting point: intercambiador de moncloa, at the platform for bus 691 to puerto de navacerrada. 📅 when: sunday, 2 august, at 7:30am (bus departs 8am sharp). 🙋 host: michelle, founder of nuvia 🥾 distance: 10 km · elevation gain: ~280m · hiking time: ~5 h with stops · difficulty: moderate (some sections above 2,000m)

• ​we'll meet at intercambiador de moncloa at 7:40am and take bus 691 directly to puerto de navacerrada at 8am (~70 min ride).

​prerequisites & what to bring:

• ​fitness & gear: sturdy hiking shoes or boots, some rocky sections along the ridge.

• ​water & snacks: bring a packed lunch, snacks, and at least 2.5l of water.
