Cover Image for Safeguarding: From the human rights space to private sector mainstreaming

Presented by

Maloza Conversations will bring together voices and perspectives in English, Spanish and Italian, exploring three areas at the heart of our work:

Leadership · DEIB · Safeguarding

From September to December 2026, we will host 10 conversations in 3 languages, featuring practitioners and experts with different experiences, perspectives and stories to share.

Some conversations will challenge us. Some will give us practical tools. And hopefully, all of them will make us think.

Our purpose is simple:

To contribute to safer, more inclusive organisations where people can thrive.

About Event

What can the private sector learn from safeguarding practices developed in the humanitarian and human rights space? And what can these sectors learn from each other?

Join safeguarding experts Iulia Ward and Ruby Moshenska, moderated by Elisabetta Borzini, for a practical 60-minute conversation exploring how safeguarding is evolving across sectors.

Together, we’ll discuss prevention, reporting and investigations, as well as some of the human factors that can determine whether safeguarding systems actually work: culture, language, accessibility, disability and the barriers people may face when speaking up.
