The 2024 Golden Gate Smackdown Presented by VSC & Mayfield

Over a decade ago, we hosted an event that became the stuff of legends — a night where startup founders and VCs connected over fast-paced ping pong matches, forging partnerships that would shape the future.

This year, we’re bringing it back. Join us as we revive the iconic SMACKDOWN Tournament, a throwback to a time when business was as much about the game as it was about the grind.

This exclusive event is hosted by VSC and Mayfield, along with Silicon Valley Bank, and Fiduciary Trust International.

The event is free to attend, with a $25 fee for those who wish to participate in the tournament.

Tournament winners will receive free whole-body health scans courtesy of our friends at Prenuvo, valued at $5,000, along with 6 free massages from Aescape, the world's most advanced massage. Winners will also receive a first-of-its-kind trophy made from Cambium's carbon-negative wood.

It's a doubles tournament so sign up with a friend or we’ll pair you with a partner. The event is first come, first served, with 108 player spots available.

Players will receive commemorative swag, and the winning team will select a charity to receive the proceeds from ticket sales. Drinks and light appetizers will be provided for all.
