Event Structure and Timeline
The hackathon runs for one intensive week, from October 20 – 26, 2025, blending the energy of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of a virtual work sprint.
The event kicks off with three days of in-person sessions (October 20 – 22) at iceaddis. This initial phase is crucial for team formation, problem deep dives, initial concept development, and getting face-to-face mentorship. Following the kickoff, teams will transition into a two-day virtual sprint (October 23 – 24). During this time, you will benefit from dedicated online office hours, technical workshops, and focused development time to refine your solution.
The hackathon culminates in a two day grand finale (October 25 – 26), held in-person at iceaddis. This final phase includes the semi-final judging, the high stakes final pitch competition, a keynote address, and the official awards ceremony.
Eligibility
This hackathon is open exclusively to female participants. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds including developers, designers, product managers, business analysts, and students whom are passionate about technology and entrepreneurship.
