Workshop: Telling your story & Writing your next act
Human beings are wildly interesting, complicated creatures with rich tales and beautiful aspirations for the future —and yet struggle to explain who they are, how they got to where they are now, or where they're headed next.
Why is this important? To help choose your future; to appreciate your strengths; to be more grateful about where you are now; to connect better with others; to see where your life is and isn't aligned to what really matters to you.
This session is designed to help you make sense of your story without overthinking it or turning it into a therapy session.
In the first part, you’ll do a fast, guided version of a life timeline exercise. You’ll map the key moments, transitions, and inflection points that shaped you—not to analyze them endlessly, but to see the patterns, themes, and turning points that are usually invisible when life is lived forward.
In the second part, you’ll learn how to turn that raw material into a clear, compelling story—one that feels true to you and adaptable to different moments: introductions, interviews, relationships, leadership conversations, or simply understanding yourself better.
This is not about crafting a “perfect” narrative.
It’s about learning how to speak about your life with more clarity, confidence, and coherence.
You’ll leave with:
A clearer view of the chapters and patterns in your life so far
A simple structure for telling your story without rambling or shrinking it
An empowering metaphor to help you continue processing your story as it unfolds
This workshop is especially valuable if you’re at a transition point, feeling stuck in the middle of something, or sensing that your life has more meaning than you’ve been able to articulate.
No preparation required. Just bring your lived experience—and a willingness to look at it with fresh eyes.
Note: Please bring a journal/pen/laptop. Snacks and drinks will be available.
