Yogilates in Conversation: See No Stranger
We're excited to announce our second Yogilates gathering of the year—a morning of movement, reflection, and meaningful connection with Sheetal, Gurleen, and special guest facilitator, Anusha Mehar.
We'll begin with our signature Yogilates practice before transitioning into See No Stranger: You Are a Part of Me I Do Not Yet Know, an interactive workshop led by Anusha Mehar, a Poet, Producer, and Cultural Organizer whose work sits at the intersection of justice, the arts, wellness, and the environment. For nearly two decades, she has led creative productions, public impact campaigns, and community-rooted movements that cultivate social change.
Drawing from her experience as the former Director of Strategy at the Revolutionary Love Project, where she partnered with founder Valarie Kaur, to advance a national movement rooted in the ethic of Revolutionary Love, Anusha will invite us into a simple but profound question:
What becomes possible when we choose to see one another — and parts of ourselves — with deeper curiosity instead of fear?
Inspired by the Revolutionary Love practice of seeing no stranger, this workshop defines Love as revolutionary labor, and explores how we can leverage it as a courageous daily practice, one that deepens our solidarity, strengthens our communities, and expands our capacity to belong.
Proceeds from this event will go to support Astralab.
