About Event

Come join us for the second in-person DMV Research Software Engineers meetup in Washington DC! This is a great opportunity to learn about a new RSE topic, connect with fellow RSE professionals in the area, and make friends!

In this meeting, we’ll hear from Angeline Burrell, a research physicist at the Space Science Division, Naval Research Laboratory who will share insights into RSE career development. Angeline’s talk will cover how to write successful recommendation letters and her work on space physics projects, focusing on the challenges and rewards of publishing software as a scientist (and with other scientists). Talk abstract and further details will be shared in the weeks prior to the event.

DMV-RSE is a regional group of the US Research Software Engineer Association.
