Join us for an intimate evening bringing together former New Yorkers now calling Los Angeles home. We’ll be gathering at The KINN, a beautiful event space in Venice, for a full Italian dinner served family-style in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Over classic dishes meant to be enjoyed together, you’ll have the chance to meet others who’ve made a similar move, swap stories, and expand your circle in a relaxed, social setting.
This event is open to anyone living in Los Angeles who has lived in, or feels a connection to, New York. Whether you’re brand new to LA or have been here for years, the night is designed to feel comfortable, conversational, and inclusive. Members of the NYC in LA host committee will be there to greet you.
We encourage guests to dress in coastal cocktail attire -- polished, beachy, and effortless. This event will be capped at 50 guests, so please RSVP early.
🎤Judah Groveman blends a love of ideas, technology, and story into a single artistic voice. Trained by the masters in classical cello performance, he has performed with and for world-class musicians (Yo-Yo Ma), defining early his conviction that music is one of the most vivid means to interpret and express the adventure of life. Also a multi-genre published songwriter with emergent film scoring credits in the Hans Zimmer library, he continues to fuse a career in global business with music to translate along with his friends each improvisational melody as a new chapter in the journey. 🎤 Ludovica, known professionally as LULU, was born in Los Angeles and proudly hails from Torino, her life shaped by a continual dialogue between movement, culture, and sound. Music has always been a constant; less a performance and more a companion. Her voice is a reflection of her journey: traditional Italian at heart, international in spirit, and deeply personal. She sings simply to share that joy.
