This time, we're joined by Nick Shackleton-Jones to talk about the third edition of his book: "How People Learn".
About the speaker
Nick is one of the most influential thinkers in modern learning and development today.
He is the author of How People Learn (Kogan Page), now in its third edition, and the originator of the Affective Context Model - the first general theory of learning and cognition - as well as the "courses to resources" shift and the 5Di human-centred design approach that have reshaped how organisations think about learning.
He is CEO and founder of Shackleton Consulting, which helps organisations measurably improve the performance and experience of their people.
Nick was previously CLO / HR Director for Learning at Deloitte UK, and has led learning strategy and innovation at PA Consulting, BP, the BBC, and Siemens across a career that began as a psychology lecturer.
This is an exclusive event for Steal These Thoughts readers.
