Young Involved Philadelphia is thrilled to announce that our annual State of Young Philadelphia convening will be held this year at the African American Museum in Philadelphia on October 18th from 3:00-7:00 PM.
The theme of this year's convening is Philadelphia Civic Engagement: Neighborhoods, Narratives, & Next Steps
We're proud to feature one of our earliest board members, Pennsylvania State Representative, Tarik S. Khan as our keynote speaker for this event!
For our panel discussion, we’re joined by Hillary Do, Executive Director of Philly Bolt, Christopher Johnson, Director of Federal and State Relations of the Philadelphia School District. Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt; and Lauren Vidas, Principal of Enact Strategies.
Pennsylvania State Representative Andre Carroll will participate in a fireside chat with YIP's VP, Rishaun A. Hall. This conversation will pull back the curtain on civic life in Philadelphia from a young professional perspective
