CommuniHacks 2026

APPLY to be a HACKER at communihacks.ca/apply, applications close Sept 15!!! (not on Luma)

CommuniHacks is a 24-hour hackathon where students build technology to solve real problems faced by local nonprofits and community organizations.

At the start of the event, local nonprofit and community organizations present problems they are currently facing. Then, each team selects one of these problems, and spends the next 24 hours designing and building a software solution. If a partnering organization believes a team's solution is strong, they will invite that team to keep building together in a volunteer position after the event.

Come build for the community, learn from workshops led by Google and AWS senior engineers, and compete for $5K+ in prizes.
