Open Coworking
Working from home can be isolating and distracting, especially if you're navigating a career transition. MLK library is the perfect place to work, network, share ideas, and find mutual support.
In this casual weekly gathering, the great hall of MLK Library is open for coworking. With former government and other workers who are sorting through career transitions and industry disruption in mind, anyone who would like a casual, friendly atmosphere to work and network is invited.
NOTE: Members from the AI Upskilling Cohort will drop by 12-5pm to say hi, share experience with the program, and perhaps ask for input on their projects.
The library has:
Tables and chairs set up as coworking space in our beautiful great hall
The tasty, affordable on-site Marianne's Cafe with a 50% discount for former federal workers- just ask at the register.
More on the DC Public Library's amenities for coworking, including information about printing (up to 20 pages free a day), scanning, and the myriad of free classes the library offers.
An extensive collection of books and online resources to support your path forward.
